Next up in our series of reviews of the last year we are going to start looking back at some of the key areas for a high turnover of Street Art around London, and are starting with our review of Brick Lane, the epicentre of London’s Street Art scene. Being at the hub of Londons Street Art scene it is no surprise that Brick Lane has seen a proliferation of incredible works placed up throughout the year. We have also been fortunate enough to see the creation of the Nomadic Community Gardens, just off of Brick Lane which has become a centre for ever-changing walls and a place worth checking in on regularly. We have also seen walls which have for some time had nothing but the crème de la crème of artist paint it such as the Kinkao Restaurant wall in Pedley Street, prove to deliver such high-calibre works throughout the year, some of the highlights of this area and in London as a whole for 2016. All in all we have been witness to a steady flow of works from local and international artists which continues to keep this area engaging for Street Art fans, the only problem of which is so many things don’t last long. So without further ado, here is our look back at the wonderful year of Street Art in Brick Lane from 2016.
