Earlier this week Hanbury Street received a fresh new mural from visiting French Street Artist Bault who was over for the opening of his current exhibition at the recently established Unit 5 Gallery – something we will be reporting on soon. Painting his first work in London, Bault presents a rather surreal set of characters in a very much illustrative tradition, which at first appears a tad haphazard and rushed but is very much not the case, his works are highly intricate, striking colours and the defining sense of the fun-fueled absurdity, something through which the artist invites the audience of his works to question our preconceived notions of reality.
