We thought next in our series of reviews of the year we would again take a look at the beauty of collaborations. This for us is one of the most impressive things with Street Art, something you don’t see in most other art forms and certainly not to such an extent. Some artists paint in pairs regularly or exclusively and many of the collaborations here are by two artists just working together for the one piece, with such a dynamic offering ample opportunity for works to take on a life of their own or in some cases really add a new dimension to one artists major style. With this in mind what you tend to see are two different types of collaboration, the ones where both artists have complimentary styles and the works fuse together as one harmonious piece, and those which are comprised of completely differing styles and yet still use together as one harmonious piece, when pulled of this is often the more impressive type to see. So without further ado, here is our look back at the wonderful year of Street Art collaborations from 2016.
