A couple of weekends back saw Street Artist Airborne Mark hit Star Yard along Brick Lane to add a Christmas themed work entitled ‘Festive Spirit’ to the little gallery that this car park comprises creating what is now the seventh piece in a series of works based upon Emoji’s from social media platforms, placed upon scrunched up paper, allowing Airborne Mark the chance to work his case studies in light and shadow through his favoured paper platforms. On this occasion the work features the Father Christmas emoji set upon a post-it note which also declares that Christmas is cancelled! Great effect and great fun in this work.

The ‘X’ in the bottom corner is superb, really looks like it is hanging off of the wall.
