Little over a week ago saw Belgian Street Artist Bisser in London for his participation in the ‘Underground 2016’ pop-up exhibition in Hoxton put on by Graffiti Street (covered here) and whilst over took the time to hit up two fantastic works around the East End, one solo along Brick Lane and one collaboration with NILS in Hoxton. Certainly an interesting artist and one we hope returns to London some time soon to paint.
Work in Bacon Street, with the name of its location somewhat inspiring Bisser’s choice of a pig as his animal subject in this surreal & somber work, that we have to say we very much love.
Pair of Pigs in Bacon Street, with works from Bisser & ROA.
Fantastic collaboration from Bisser & NILS presenting a pair of grey-scale portraits, highlighter with red, in such a diverse pair of styles that sit so well in this somewhat surreal scene set amid this lovely framing railway arch in Hoxton.
Detail of Bisser’s surreal camera crazed character that is set parodying the person photographing this work.
I never made the connection with it being on Bacon Street – I guess that’s what also inspired Roa
