Playing catch up again here with a pair of collaborations involving Louis Masai placed up a month or so back now, but were both so good we still wanted to share here. First up we have a work with Brazilian Street Artist Milo Tchais who was visiting London as part of the LATA Festival (covered here) and took the time to visit Camden Town in order to paint with Louis Masai. The second piece was put together with visiting Canadian artist Jerry Rugg who was in England to take part at Upfest and took the time around the event to leave London with three superb works.
A superb fusion of styles and subjects in this vibrant work by Louis Masai & Milo Tchais in Camden Town. The striking floral scene so full of bold colours from Milo Tchais very much compliment the realism and soft colours in Louis Masai’s style. This work was put up with support from Monoprixx.

Magnificent Bee by Louis Masai sat aloft one of Milo Tchais vibrant flowers.
Stunning work by Jerry Rugg and Louis Masai in Bethnal Green. The excellent collaboration features a pair of entwined Common Crane’s which have been reintroduced into British Wildlife. This duo make for a great pair to work together as this piece amply demonstrates, with the softness of Louis Masai’s patchwork depiction sitting harmoniusly with the bright and more distorted elements of Jerry Rugg’s surreal and absorbing creation. Love the falling feathers from the pair, such a subtle addition really in the spirit of a well executed collaboration.
Where about in Camden is the Louis Masai & Milo Tchais piece? It’s fantastic!
