Last weekend the worlds most famous global Graffiti & Street Art festival finally returned to London, with a fantastic event comprised of painting, music and all round fun by the many people in attendance. The very nature of the event is defined in the name, Meeting of Styles, setting to showcase artists and writers from all over the globe and presenting a full range of Graffiti and Street Art styles.
The event was organised through the hard work of London’s very own Jim Vision and Matilda of EndOfTheLine and set up in and around the Nomadic Community Gardens, a location that over the last year since its conception has propelled itself to the position of one of the must see locations to witness Street Art in London. Additionally there were extra works placed up in the adjacent park & streets of Allen Gardens, Pedley Street,
We very much enjoyed Meeting Of Styles last year, but this year was an incredible step-up on all fronts, offering a superb and diverse range of Street Art and Graffiti, as well as live music in a variety of styles really offering something for everyone to enjoy. It was a delight to be exposed to so many artists and writers that either rarely paint in London or even have never had the chance to before, drawing in talent from all around the globe for this one great weekend. The atmosphere was fantastic with a real sense of energy permeating the entire weekend and leaving a superb body of works in its wake. It’s only fair to say well done to EndOfTheLine for organizing such a hit, to all the artists who participated and to the Roving Cafe for feeding everyone involved.

The Finished Pieces:
‘Freedom’ by Fanakapan & Louis Masai.
We have to say along with the superb large-scale collaboration on the Nomadic Community Gardens feature wall this is our favourite piece of the event. We also have the utmost respect for the sheer amount of time and effort that this pair put in over the weekend, but certainly worth the result. We will be taking a more in-depth look at the construction and outcome of this piece in the coming days.

A great review of a great festival. The next weekend the Meeting of Styles will be here in Wiesbaden/Germany. I am very excited about it.
Greetings to London.
Some really great works and collaborations. Getting very excited about Upfest 2016 in Bristol.
