New Only Graffiti in Brick Lane

For this blog post we are taking a look at a recent artwork placed up just a couple of weeks ago by graffiti writer Only up Brick Lane way. Only’s work is always so detailed and meticulously executed, presenting a masterful fusion between 3D graffiti and intricate realistic subjects and scenery. Over the last three or so years Only has certainly proved himself as an expert at his use of perspective and light play. His works really have to be seen in person to fully appreciate the incredible effect he generates in his art – that isn’t to say they don’t look incredible in a photograph also, which is why we want to share this fantastic work of his we had the privilege of witnessing around East London the other weekend. The piece in question is titled ‘They Come and They Go’ and presents a contrasting pair of scenes within his lettering, with a a more natural and peaceful setting on the left in the O and N, and a more fast paced and busy urban scene – from the nearby City of London we believe – in the L and Y, accompanied by a homeless gentleman on the right of the letter work. This excellent piece can be found in Corbet Place, Brick Lane.
