New Skewer x Last Street Art in Crystal Palace

A month or so back saw graffiti writers Skewer and Last take to Crystal Palace to paint the first town spot for our community endeavors in 2024. Presenting a fantastic fun work – who doesn’t love dinosaurs? We have a harmonious collaboration of each artist’s respective styles, with Last painting the Stegosaurus on the left and Skewer painting the accompanying Triceratops skull on the right, both set in a lush cascading valley setting. Not only is the work so much fun, it is a superb addition for the area, something which was not lost on the locals, as just a stones throw away are the iconic Crystal Palace dinosaurs. The dinosaurs in question are a series of sculptures which were unveiled in 1854 following the move of the Crystal Palace to the area after the Great Exhibition in Hyde Park, and are dotted around the lake in the nearby Crystal Palace Park.

We would like to say a massive thank you to both Skewer and Last for taking the time to visit SE20 in order to support our community artistic initiative and for leaving this absolutely amazing and perfectly located artwork for ourselves and the locals to enjoy in the process. We would also like to say a big thank you to Napoli Pizza for their generous hospitality and donation of the space.

This superb artwork can be found at 96 Anerley Hill and was placed up with support from ourselves London Calling Blog for SprayExhibition20.
