For our next post we are taking a look at a superb recent addition to Anerley by graffiti writer and street artist Sidok placed up last week for our SprayExhibition20 community street art project around SE20. This fantastic work marks the second time Sidok has left something around SE20 for our project, but is also the first solo piece he left here to date. The work is excellent, the hands are spot on, the piece in general is imbued with such a striking colour scheme and the incorporation of the wooden slats leaning into the ridges in the garage door is a masterful choice.
We would like to offer a big thank you to the space owner for allowing us to find an artist to again transform their property. As well as a massive thank you to Sidok for coming down to support this initiative and for leaving such a fantastic artwork for us to enjoy in the process. This superb work can be found in Bridgewood Close, St Hugh’s Estate, Anerley, and was put up with support from ourselves London Calling Blog.
