Next up we are taking a look at a superb addition to Penge by local street artist Elno, which was placed up over the summer for our SprayExhibition20 Community Street Art Project. It’s always a pleasure to have Elno paint a spot for us and leave some of her exceptional illustrative work for us to admire, and this work below is no exception. The work is titled Cosmic Pacha Mama and features a striking soulful cosmic scene depicting a strong goddess at one with the natural world around here, from the smallest seed to the biggest star! Fantastic use of space from Elno on this slightly obstructed spot with her feature character set plucking a petal from the hanging flower basket. This work marks Elno’s largest artwork to date and its amazing to see how well she used the large space available.
We of course wish to say a massive thank you to the generous space owner, who kindly donated a spot and trusted us to work it. As well as a really big thank you to Elno for painting this spot local to us both in SE20 to support this initiative and for leaving such a captivating and beautiful artwork in the process. The work below is located in Southey Street at the corner of Penge High Street and was put up with support from ourselves London Calling Blog.
