Next up we are taking a look at a pair of superb recent additions to Penge by American Street Artist Dreamscaper, which were placed up over the summer for our SprayExhibition20 Community Street Art Project. It’s always a pleasure to have new artists visit SE20 and leave their mark and this beautiful duo of striking and tranquil works placed up by Dreamscaper are no exception. The first work placed up in Penge High Street imbues a strong Japanese influence to this artists rich illustrative style and exudes such a peaceful feeling upon viewing. The second work placed up in Stodart Road on a residential spot features a pair of colourful fish casually set in the underwater world now cast on this garage door. We are privileged to be able to say this pair of superb works are the first and only artworks Dreamscaper has ever painted not just in London, but the entire UK, an honour to be able to host them in SE20.
We of course wish to say a massive thank you to both of the generous space owners, who kindly donated a spot and trusted us to work it. As well as a really big thank you to Dreamscaper for spending her first visit to London hanging around SE20 to support this initiative and for leaving such a captivating and beautiful artwork in the process. The works below are located in Penge and were put up with support from ourselves London Calling Blog.
