Next up we are taking a look at a recent addition to Anerley by Street Artist Damitta, which was placed up in Anerley over the summer for our SprayExhibition20 Community Street Art Project. It’s always a pleasure have new artists visit SE20 and leave their mark and this beautiful tranquil portrait placed up by Damitta is no exception. Leaving an absolutely striking scene with a strong Japanese influence imbued with such a rich textured and painterly style that makes this work so captivating.
We of course wish to say a massive thank you to the generous space owner, who kindly donated a spot and trusted us to work it – Thornsett Place is definitely one of our favourite spots on the SE20 Street Art trail. As well as a really big thank you to Damitta for coming to the area to support this initiative and for leaving such a captivating and beautiful artwork in the process. The work below is located in Thornsett Place, Anerley, and was put up with support from ourselves London Calling Blog.
