Here we are playing catch-up with a fantastic large-scale piece by Street Artist Olivier Roubieu placed up in Penge over the summer for our SprayExhibition20 Community Street Art Project. This works marks the first time Olivier Roubieu has painted for our project around SE20, though we have worked together in a number of towns over the last six years, and it also makes for the largest space Olivier Roubieu has painted for us to date. This artist has quite the impressive range in the array of subjects he may paint, however female portraiture is the artists main subject of choice, which is what he left in Penge a few months back in the form of this striking soft portrait that really does command your attention upon viewing.
We would like to offer a big thank you to the respective space owners for again allowing us to find an artist to transform their property. As well as a massive thank you to Olivier Roubieu for coming by to support this initiative and for leaving such a superb series of artworks in the process. This fantastic work can be found in the Pawleyne Arms and was put up with support from ourselves London Calling Blog for SprayExhibition20.
