Here we are playing catch-up with an absolutely incredible piece by local Street Artist Morgasmik and Sheffield based Street Artist Peachzz in Penge for our SprayExhibition20 Community Street Art Project that was placed up over the summer. This absolutely captivating scene is spectacular, featuring a superb fusion of each of the artists respective styles, with Peachzz striking mermaid on the left of the wall, swimming away from the viewer, whilst trailed by Morgasmik’s energetic and psychedelic geometric abstract work to the right. We do love a collaborative piece, especially when it features such diverse subjects and styles as this gem does. There is so much to take in with this piece, which utilises the large space so well. We have an obscene amount of photos shared below, but that’s because this spot and this artwork lends itself to it so perfectly – especially when we was able to view it lit up with a UV light in the dark.
We of course wish to say a massive thank you to the generous space owners, who kindly donated a spot and trusted us to work it. Thank you to all the generous residents in this road who made the artists so welcome! As well as a really big thank you to Peachzz & Morgasmik for visiting Penge to support this initiative and for leaving such a captivating and fun artwork in the process. This superb work can be found in Montrave Road, Penge, and was put up with support from ourselves London Calling Blog.
