Recently London was fortunate to receive a month long visit from Austrian Street Artist HNRX, marking his 3rd return to the city, with his first visit in December 2015 (covered here) and his second visit in October 2016 (covered here). In true HNRX style he embarked upon a seeming whirlwind of activity placing pieces all around East and South London in order to work his own brand of comic-surrealism sets to transmit a sense of fun and joy, keeping his work free of political or social statements, he sets to merely present a surreal scene of humour or love.
This recent trip from HNRX stands out from his previous pair of visits for two reasons. Firstly the number of fresh large walls HNRX has painted and secondly the change in style from a more illustrative clean style to an increasingly more loose and painterly tone blending a mixture of spray paint and/or mini-roller works. Unfortunately we have not managed to have the time to catch up with all the works HNRX placed up on his recent visit, but we do have some 13 works below to share with you.
