Last week saw Dreph return to Commercial Street, Spitalfields, to add his latest striking London work making for the third portrait we have now seen from Dreph on this spot since October 2016. Presenting an interesting twist on the colour palette Dreph’s prevalent in his recent works about town, namely departing from the grey-scale feature image accompanied by a colourful background to the adverse dynamic of a grey-scale backdrop for the coloured portrait. This superb work is the third work in Dreph’s ‘You Are Enough’ series and features East London resident Holly Oluwo, a women Dreph met several months ago whilst painting in the surrounding area and was struck by her story, spirit and wisdom and set to paint this person he made a connection with. Proof that art can bring people together in so many ways.
