A couple of weeks back saw stencil-based Street Artist Dotmasters take to Croydon to paint this fantastic 4 layer half tone portrait of Liz Taylor – constructed from a series of ‘Dots ‘ using the CMYK colour palette (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black) – as used in printing. Certainly interesting to see Dotmasters return to the style that gave him his name and we have to say it is very much the case that the pictures of the work below really don’t do justice to the deconstructed dynamic that makes the whole piece.
