Here we have a work that was placed up a few weeks back, but we thought it would be more appropriate to share it now, namely this festive themed piece from Otto Schade entitled ‘Peace & Love’ which is currently residing in Old Street at the Shoreditch End. Featuring one of Otto Schade’s striking yet stark silhouette scenes the work depicts two children – male and female stood innocently holding a teddy bear and doll behind their respective backs as they stand before a Christmas tree decorated with machine guns and hand grenades, very Otto Schade indeed.

I love his work, I think there was a pole dancer here before? sinister Christmas tree. Of our time.
