Better late than never, last night we finally had the time to head up to Dalston to catch up with a couple of exhibitions that opened in the last week, the first of which being the ‘Creative Differences’ group exhibition at the 1963 Gallery Space. Presenting a selection of prints in a variety of mediums from some 16 artists, the show curated by Monoprixx & Bablu is certainly well presented in this small basement space setting and showcases some excellent artworks from a range of artistic styles and subjects. Hard to choose favourites, but for ideas as well as style we have to say Fanakapan and Tom Blackford stood out, as well as the works by Pang, The Nomad Clan and Dale Grimshaw. Unfortunately the show closes today so if you are about town and haven’t already been to this show, it is certainly worth the visit, 1963 Gallery Space can be found at 129a Kingsland Road, Dalston.
