New DEESASTER Street Art ‘Batter Up!’ In Camden Town

Last week over the course of three days from Tuesday to Thursday Street Artist DEESASTER who is Yugoslavian born, but based in Holland, visited London to hit up an interesting work in Camden Town. The piece entitled ‘Batter Up!’ presents a rather simple yet surreal scene, with a depiction of Micky Mantle, famed New York Yankees baseball player hitting a rubber duck out of the ‘park’. The work has a lovely painterly tone that really pops on the contrasting bright blue background, and despite the minimalist content it really does create a sense of depth through the main figure and motion within the piece through the rubber duck. This work was put up with support from The Hidden Streets Of London & Monoprixx.
