In July amid the warm weather, though before it got too warm, we had the good fortune to spend a lovely Saturday with 15 street artists painting a run of fresh raw hoarding in Celebration Avenue, Stratford. It’s fair to say the artists involved – both local and from all around London – completely transformed this space with a diverse and captivating array of stunning first class artworks, mixing portraiture, abstract art, typography and illustration across the space to superb effect.

The works below were placed up with support from ourselves London Calling Blog. We of course wish to offer a massive thank you to all the artists who participated and painted for free, and supporting the community initiatives we involve ourselves with and for leaving such a captivating series of artworks in the process. As well as wanting to say a big thank you to Hadley Property Group, who kindly donated a spot and trusted us to work it.
