For this blog post we are taking a look at a series of twelve artworks we have spied around East London through the course of 2022 from street artist Fat Cap Sprays. It’s always a pleasure see fresh works from this prolific artistand thankfully we never have to go to far and wait to long to do so, this artist is always getting up. As well as leaving an amazing range of iconic subjects, many of which really hit the nostalgia button for ourselves, we have also been treated to a number of original characters from the artist. All works have been depicted in the artist’s own distinct take on neon style illustration that bring these characters to life and really pop from the surface they adorn. It has also been very interesting to see how the artist’s output has continued to evolve since he emerged with a bang on the street art scene in 2020, with the most notable dynamic shifts of late being the looser more flared approach to his works and the incorporation of original subjects into his repertoire.
