Next up we are taking a look at a superb addition to Penge by street artist JXC, which was placed up back in the early summer for our SprayExhibition20 Community Street Art Project. It’s always a pleasure to have JXC visit SE20 and leave some of his exceptional photo-realism work for us to admire, and this work below is no exception. Making for the fourth artwork JXC has painted for this project and the second work on this particular wall it is amazing to see how he has created yet again a superb piece that engages with the setting, in this instance with the grizzly bear set mid-roar at whoever happens to be passing by. The bear looks so life like, you feel as though you could feel its breath on your skin, blowing your hair back, as you get close enough.
We would like to offer a big thank you to the space owner for allowing us to find an artist to again transform their property. As well as a massive thank you to JXC for coming down again to support this initiative and for leaving such a fantastic artwork for us to enjoy in the process. This superb work can be found in Maple Road, Penge, and was put up with support from ourselves London Calling Blog.
