For this post we are playing catch-up with a series of nine fantastic works placed up around Penge and Anerley over the last year from street artist Aspire. All of of these additions to SE20 through 2021 thus far by Aspire feature animals as the main subject, with a prevailing array of his trademark subject of birds, with a Snow Leopard and a Fox joining the mix. It is always a pleasure to see fresh work from this artist, let alone get to see it on our daily travels, Aspire’s striking soft realistic animals are always accompanied by such beautiful scenes or over the last year or so increasingly items of humans consumption, some natural, some manufactured. We would like to offer a big thank you to each of the respective space owners for allowing us to find an artist to transform their property. As well as a massive thank you to Aspire for yet again coming by to support this initiative and for leaving such a superb series of artworks in the process.
