Here we are taking a look at a trio works placed up over the last couple of weeks around Shoreditch by visiting Japanese artist Enigm who is proving to be one of the most active Street Artists currently on London’s scene, as well as making for one of the most exciting artists to land in our city. Taking a rich illustrative style heavily influenced by cross-hatching approach Enigm’s work has a very historically old-fashioned quality, the technique and colour-scheme brings to mind drawings from the Victorian era. We look forward very much to seeing what else Enigm leaves on London’s streets over the coming months on his stay in London.

He’s just painted another one in Allen Gardens – these are all in a very different style to the work he was doing in Allen Gardens when he was studying here before the pandemic…
