New Street Art at The Lord Napier in Hackney Wick

On our recent trip to Hackney Wick our first and eagerly await port of call was to the Lord Napier pub outside Hackney Wick Overground Station. After 26 years closed the Lord Napier, Hackney Wick’s most iconic site for Graffiti and Street Art has reopened and with it the pub had a full makeover curated by local Hackney Wick artist Teddy Baden. In the midst of the redevelopments happening around Hackney Wick and Fish Island in recent years – and still now – it is really heartening to see that the street art and graffiti dynamic that has been a feature of this particular local landmark has not been lost.
