New Maikel Walkman Street Art in Anerley

Next up we are taking a look at a recent addition to Anerley by Street Artist Maikel Walkman placed up in Anerley for our SprayExhibition20 Community Street Art Project. It’s always a pleasure to see work from this artist who has an impressive range of subjects in his repertoire. In this instance Maikel was influenced by a bit of nostalgia and has painted a portrait based on the 1980’s TV show the A-Team featuring the character Howling Mad Murdoch set wearing a colourful psychedelic jacket and throwing a paper airplane. We of course wish to say a massive thank you to the generous space owner, who kindly donated a spot and trusted us to work it. As well as a really big thank you to Maikel Walkman for coming back to the area to support this initiative and for leaving such captivating and beautiful artwork in the process. The work below is located in Thornsett Place, Anerley, and was put up with support from ourselves London Calling Blog.
