Last month saw what will be in most likelihood the last large-scale Paint Jam to grace the area of Brick Lane, namely Graffestival, a two-day event set to mark the end of the creative hub that in recent years that has being the Nomadic Community Gardens. The event was organised through the hard work of London’s very own Jim Vision and Matilda of EndOfTheLine and set up in and around the Nomadic Community Gardens, a location that over the last five years since its conception has propelled itself to the position of one of the must see locations to witness Street Art in London amid a haven of creativity in a range of forms that has made this place a space like no other in London, one that will be sorely missed as the area is set for redevelopment in the continuing process of the East End becoming swallowed up by the neighbouring City of London.
