Here we are taking a look at a work placed up by Street Artist Attai in Penge a couple of weeks back in Maple Road placed up for our community Street Art project SprayExhibition20. Going with a freestyle design we have to say there is a lot going on this small space, all of which we very much like Firstly upon approaching the shape of the central houses appears to look like some stylized graffiti letters, then the work appears abstract until Attai’s trademark houses take shape – rather fitting for the location – and all presented in a grungy yet soft colour palette. We would like to say thanks to the kind developers of the former Golden Lion pub for allowing us to get Attai to add something so creative to their property in the meantime. We also would like to offer a big thanks to Attai for coming down to add this work which really brings life to this otherwise drab building site.
