Some while back now we had the pleasure of spending the day with Street Artist Carleen De Sozer whilst she painted a striking and vibrant work entitled the ‘Golden Goddess’ about town for our SprayExhibition20 Community Project. Taking to Station Road, Penge to take on the shutter at the corner of Penge East joining the fantastic gallery that this corner of town has become.
Setting to paint one of her delightful strong characters – sporting a superb of glasses we have to say – defined by the keyhole placed on the forehead giving lure to the many keys that surround them, set to unlock ones true power, knowledge or even life. On this occasion Carleen’s subject is accompanied by a golden city that just radiates a sense of wealth which the central figure is projecting upon her environment.
We would like to say thanks to the kind owners of Jacks Quick Stop Shop for allowing us to get Carleen De Sozer to add something so beautiful to their property. We also would like to offer a big thanks to Carleen for coming down to leave SE20 with her beautiful ‘Golden Goddess’.

The striing finsihed work, just radiating a wealth positive energy and empowerment.
