A week or so back Graffiti Writers Solo One and Lovepusher engaged in what Solo One dubbed ‘Makeover Duty’ around the hoardings adorning the former Brixton Bloc, now condemned and set for demolition in Stockwell. With both of these Writers being veterans on the scene and Solo One himself being responsible for ‘maintaining’ the nearby Stockwell Hall of Fame and the inherent high standards largely respected there, the pair certainly make for an interesting contrast in style, yet sit so well side by side with the 3D futuristic and precise nature of Lovepusher’s creations – love the central chrome ‘S’ in the piece – set aside Solo One’s more traditional and flowing lettering style.
