New Fanakapan ‘Deflate’ Street Art In Dalston

Over the course of Wednesday and Thursday saw Fanakapan at work in Dalston putting up a piece in conjunction with the opening of his current solo exhibition ‘Inflation’ (covered here) at the BSMT Space just across the road. In keeping with his recent output and that which is prevalent in his exhibit, namely 3D hyper-realistic balloon creations, that is very much what Fanakpan has worked with here in Dalston, on this occasion reading ‘deflate’ – spelled ‘DFL8’. Set to act in opposition to his studio output in his ‘Inflation’ show, this works very essence is the counter-reaction to that process and that which sees him back painting the street with his fantastic creations, which are just full of life and depth. The BSMT Space can be found at 5 Stoke Newington Road and the ‘Inflation’ show runs until April 24th, so if you haven’t already, head along to see the great show for yourselves, you really won’t be disappointed.
