Well it’s been a month since we last had a fresh work from Trust Icon to share with you, however two days ago one of London’s most witty and proactive Street Artists was back out again to hit up his latest creation, on this occasion in Bethnal Green. In his work Trust Icon set’s to capture a moment or a snapshot from his, and many peoples childhood, combined with his own style of poignant insight or humour injected into each work, making his style his very own and his works what they are.
The work entitled ‘Don’t Believe In Fairy Tales’ depicts an image of a deceased Snow White been surrounded by two Scenes Of Crime Officers who attend to the scene, with one investigator holding the instrument with which Snow White has met her demise, namely the poisoned apple, and all accompanied by the trademark British Police man manning the situation. This piece like most works from Icon instantly brings a smile to the face upon viewing and forces the viewer to reflect on their childhood and his delightful view of such characters and the parameters with which they are defined. This work was put up with support from The Hidden Streets Of London.
I think this is my fav Trust Icon and perfect in time for the festive season.
It certainly is one of his best works of 2015 Tanya, as always with him, just inspired.
