On Wednesday we were fortunate enough to stumble across Street Artist Olivier Roubieu at work in Leake Street to add what is now the second ceiling mural in the tunnel, with the first being put up by Psychodoodlz a month back (covered here), and it is certainly great to see these spots being utilized. Olivier Roubieu laid out what is certainly the highlight of the tunnel with his first 3D painting, choosing the brilliant subject matter of Zabou. Zabou is certainly a fair choice seeing as she is one of the single most proactive and prolific Street Artists around London. For this reason it is only fair that she be painted, donning her mask, at the centre of Leake Street, overlooking the tunnel. In all a superb subject, fantastically executed by Olivier Roubieu and great to see him venturing into new approaches with his art. So if you are about town, this is certainly worth the trip to Leake Street.
