Some time over last Friday and Saturday artist Trust Icon hit Shoreditch again to replace a piece of his put up some six weeks back which had been defaced, and did so with an absolutely beautiful tribute to deceased street artist Ben Naz, who passed last year after a long battle with cancer. The piece is so touching and in true Trust Icon style is very much his own work but clearly influenced by the subject matter, a beautiful tribute to a superb fellow stencil artist, who ‘lived his life without regrets’.

Ben Naz’s mantra “Live Life Without Regrets” says it all. Great tribute from Trust Icon to the original ‘guerilla’ artist who did in fact live his life that way. I would also recommend checking out this review of the Ben Naz Memorial Jam held in Leake Street last November by Inspiring City.
