One of the main reasons I went via Camden on Saturday was to see the new Dan Kitchener pieces. He painted 4 brand new walls in Camden Town throughout December and also completed the finishing touches to a piece he started in 2013. Dan Kitchener describes his work has having a “gritty urban theme, taken from everyday life and the surroundings and environment I experience daily. I love to find beauty in the most mundane of scenes and particularly love the relationship with light, shadow and composition. I try to fill my work with a tangible mood, a sense of being there“..
Go see his works while you can, he has certainly left his mark on the Camden street art scene, lets hope its not long before he adds some more. But for now Camden has 2 of his ‘Liquid Lights’ series, a superb Puddle along with 2 of his ‘Future Geisha’ pieces.
