New Paul Insect Street Art Around East London

One of the most exciting things we have seen around London this year and for some time in general was a trio of works or interventions placed up by artist and graffiti writer Paul Insect – aka Pins – around East London. These works represent the absolute best of graffiti and street art, playing with the existing landscape, in this case in the form of transforming council or network rail buff jobs into fun animal characters. These pieces are exceptionally imaginative and superb for turning the attempts at removing creative expression into an artwork in their own right. It was well worth the 30 mile summer morning cycle to see these superb works and we hope to be lucky enough to see some more of these works in the future. Whilst it is a tough choice, the crocodile in Waltham Forest is our favourite of the three animals below.

Work at the meeting of Argall Way and Lee Bridge Road, Waltham Forest.

Work in Kingshold Road, Hackney.

Work in Waterson Street, Shoreditch.
