A few months back saw North Ireland based street artist Rob Hilken visit London and hit up a series of four superb pieces in as many days – which was no mean feat given how much rain needed dodging. Working with a mix of typography and geometrics in his artistic output, it was exactly these dynamics at play in his recent additions to Penge. Two of the works featured photorealistic alphabetti spaghetti letters that are so fine and masterfully executed, whilst the other two pieces took on a more graphic design dynamic. Hopefully it won’t be long until we see this artist pass through London and paint again, but for now we are grateful to have had this piece go up in our hometown. The fantastic works below were placed up with support from ourselves London Calling Blog for our SprayExhibition20 community street art project.
