For our next post we are taking a look at a beautiful artwork placed up in Penge during the Autumn by Bournemouth based artist Faye Rai. This artist has only taken her work to the streets during the last year or so and this piece marks her largest portrait to date and her first work in London, we are absolutely delighted it is up in SE20. This striking and somewhat surreal artwork is inspired by the lost art of day-dreaming, something which for the artist has spawned much of her creativity. It is always a pleasure to discover new artists, and even more so when we get to have them come and paint in our hometown. We for one hope it isn’t to long before this artist makes a return visit to London to share her talents. The stunning work below can be found in Padua Road, Penge, and was placed up with support from ourselves London Calling Blog for SprayExhibition20.
