For our next post we are taking a look at an absolutely incredible work placed up a last month for our SprayExhibition20 Community Street Art Project around Penge and Anerley by graffiti writers and street artists Nerone and Ben Eine. Taking to the town square along Penge High Street you couldn’t really pick a more prominent spot about SE20, and this duo of artists certainly didn’t waste the opportunity.Titled Unity the work presents a fantastic and harmonious fusion of each of the artists respective styles. With Ben EIne’s trademark typography at the centre of the composition spelling out the word “Unity” whilst being surrounded by Nerone’s rich retro style flowers set dripping and oozing from down the wall, simply beautiful. We particularly love how the due incorporated the lovely brick work into the background of their design.
We wish to say a huge thank you to the owners of the space who kindly donated an absolutely lovely spot and trusted us to work it. As well as a massive thank you to Nerone and Ben Eine for both coming back to the area to again support this initiative and for leaving an absolutely excellent artwork in the process. Last but by no means least a big thank you to Kevin and Street Art Atlas for all the help around this spot. This stunning work can be found in Penge High Street, Penge, and was put up with support from ourselves London Calling Blog.
