For our next post we are taking a look at a superb recent addition to Penge by street artist Envol placed up for our SprayExhibition20 community street art project around SE20. This striking piece mark the first time Envol has painted around our corner of South-East London and he has certainly left his mark in style about SE20. Presenting a strong graphic design influence it is always impressive to see how meticulous this artist is with his output, even in a minimalist setting there is so much attention to detail in Envol’s work. It is also exceptionally impressive to see the subtle tones and textures in the hand in this work, it looks like it was done as a pencil drawing, exceptionally impressive when you consider this effect was generated with a spray can.

We would like to offer a big thank you to the space owner for allowing us to find an artist to again transform their property. As well as a massive thank you to Envol for coming out to support this initiative and for leaving such a fantastic artwork for us to enjoy in the process.
