New Nick Wakeling Street Art in Penge

Next up in our catch up of recent works we oragnised around South-East London over the last several months we are taking a look at a great work from local talent NIck Wakeling placed up over the summer for our SprayExhibition20 community street art project. Taking to Penge West, this spot is something rather different than the average ones we get to paint, namely a former pony trap, now coffee stall, permanently parked outside Penge West Overground Station, Nick Wakeling placed up a striking work in the artists trademark abstract pattern styling which is reminiscent of Aboriginal design work and alive with flow and energy. An interesting spot exceptionally well utilised by the artist. We of course wish to say a massive thank you to the business who generously donated a space and trusted us to work it. As well as a really big thank you to Nick Wakeling for coming out to support this initiative and for leaving such a lovely artwork in the process.
