Over the last couple of months French Street Art legend Thierry Noir has painted a series of fresh new artworks around Shoreditch, which have been a pleasure to spy. Thierry Noir who is credited in art history as the first artist to start painting large works on the Berlin Wall in 1984, and proceeded to paint on it virtually every day for the next six years, at a time when such expressions of ‘freedom’ where completely forbidden. The fresh works shared below placed up in Rivington Street and Holywell Lane and depict his trademark illustartive profile characters set to a minimalist and bright colour palette, in a work that is immediately and undeniably Thierry Noir
