Here we are playing catch up with a work placed up a couple of months ago in Stockwell, and what a striking work it is. The piece in question is by Brazilian Street Artist Panmela Castro who has taken her art all around the world and whilst on a recent visit to Europe treated London with this fabulous work on her first visit to the UK. Beyond how captivating the scene created is, was the immense speed in which it was put up, hands down the fastest artist we have seen at work, hitting this gem out in an hour. The scene which features 2 woman, representing how in society females are forced to compete with each other through unrealistic standards and ideals, that the idea that women are always thinking and acting in response to the other. Big thanks to Loruntomi for putting us in touch. This work can be found in Stockwell, and was put up with support from us London Calling Blog.
