Here we are playing catch-up with a look at a fantastic recent addition to Brick Lane from the ever prolific Street Artist Fanakapan painted in Allen Gardens. Continuing with his glass based subjects, with this work Fanakapan has masterfully painted the White Rabbit – stop-watch and all – from Jefferson Airplane’s 1967 song “White Rabbit” with its surreal take on Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland flitting about his business around the East End. Always a pleasure to see work from this artist and this piece is no exception, you just lose yourself in the delicate effect and intricate touches that comprise Fankapan’s pieces, creating works so full of depth, this is very much brilliant.
