It has been quite some time since we last saw some fresh work from Italian Street Artist Alo around East London, which isn’t to say there still aren’t a fair few of old designs still floating around the area. However it has been a real pleasure to stumble upon 3 out of 5 works from a recent wave activity around his favoured venue for his art that is Brick Lane. Featuring his own brand of urban expressionist abstract portraiture based on subjects including real people Alo observes on the streets, people from the media as well as mythical creatures, setting to examine their role in society. Fantastic to see Alo back out and about around town and we hope you enjoy the few recent works we have spied from Alo shared below.
‘A French Gipsy Lady’ outside Monty’s Bar in Brick Lane.
Work in Sclater Street.
