Its been a few months since we have been treated to a wave of fresh works about town from Zabou, though in fairness this has nothing to do with inactivity on the artists part, its just she has had a fantastic year painting all around the world. So it is with much delight that we have been able to spy a trio of fantastic fresh additions placed up over the last couple of months around North, East and West London.
“Amy” placed up in her native Camden Town with the design inspired by a photograph by M.Okoh. This work can be found in Stucley Place, Camden Town, and was put up with support from Monoprixx.
“Thirsty” an excellent design seen by the eye as it is above and to be presented as seen in the image below – having being flipped upside down. Excellent use of the space by one of the most creative artists we get to see working their stuff around the city. This work can be found in Crowthorne Road, and was put up with support from Rocheart.Me.
“Frida” with a fresh reworking of this space in Ada Street off of Broadway Market, Hackney, making for the third design we have seen from Zabou on this spot over the last couple of years and the second depiction of the iconic Mexican artist Frida Kahlo.
