This morning in our series of reviews of the last year we are going to take a look back at the year of Street Art and Graffiti in Croydon. It’s been an interesting in Croydon with the Arts Quarter continuing to receive a steady stream of new additions and played host to a couple of Paint Jams through the year, the first of which the ‘Any Colour You Like’ Paint Jam we put on with support from M_Frenchi that brutally cold weekend mid-February, as well as the CDN Zine Paint Jam in July. As well as all this Croydon still plays host to what has to be the largest set of legal painting spots beyond Leake Street to paint on and is fortunate enough to play host to some of London’s finest Graffiti Writers, you just have to be fortunate and regular to catch it. So without further ado we present a year of Street Art in Croydon for 2017.

Thank you for this beautiful look back! I’m going to London soon and can’t wait to see all these murals.
I think it’s Rich Simmons (not Richard Wilson) who painted the piece The Kiss on Surrey Street.
