This morning in our series of reviews of the year we are taking a look back at Shoreditch, which alongside the adjoining area of Brick Lane, make up the epicentre of London’s Street Art scene. An area that is a must visit destination for tourists and enthusiasts alike, and whilst there you will regularly pass Street Art tours and countless people stopping to admire or just fleetingly snap the artworks that are in abundance. However as the year has gone on and many of the new buildings that have been part of the ongoing regeneration of the area which has seen a dramatic number of once painted spots already gone or set to disappear before to long, so while we don’t doubt certain spots will continue to remain or provide a canvas for rotating works it seems Shoreditch is set to be a husk of his former creative capacity. So without further ado, here is our look back at the wonderful year of Street Art in Shoreditch from 2017.
